New Toys: XAML and WPF

Time to have some fun! In this session Puneet will show you how, with WPF as your framework and XAML + C# as your development languages, it's really easy to make beautiful applications. The best part…you write much less code. During the presentation Puneet will build a simple application from scratch. As he does, he will show you the basic and advanced features of XAML + WPF. He will also give an introduction to the various tools you'll need to get started as well as where to get them.

Puneet Sarda is a Software Developer at Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, RI.  Last year, while doing his Master's in computer science, he entered Microsoft's Imagine Cup 2005 competition where his team made it to the top 9 in the US finals.  He has been programming in .NET for the last 3 years. In his spare time he enjoys playing with the upcoming technologies.
