System.XML:

An in-depth look at the XML capabilities in the .NET Framework.

The use of XML in application development, particular as it pertains to the .NET Framework, is becoming increasingly important. This session will explore the various XML frameworks within System.XML, and will include topics such as the overall XML architecture in the Framework, using XML documents, reading and writing XML data, schemas and data validation, XPath queries and transformations.
 

Stephen Howard is a consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services located in Waltham, MA. His experience ranges from the development of large-scale enterprise applications and intranet portals to database design and development. Prior to entering full-time into the world of technology, Stephen pursued graduate studies in music and remains an active freelance percussionist the Boston area.
